Correct me if I'm wrong, but there has not been an NCAA game in like 5 years from what I could tell because of the licensing problems? Clearly not a sim like Madden, but really allows for something new, where a sim game can not really do much year to year.
You're missing the 1 thing they invest the most amount of cash into which is the rights to the players titles in every game. I know yeah is making a killing but you need to knock off their shady figure out how much money they make to the NFL and watch the NFL come knocking at their door for a larger cut Those games ought to be every other year and just update rosters. As far as the other games like Apex and Fallen Order, they're good af.
I can use basically the same game, tweak a feature or two, create another attribute or two pay-to-play, update the rosters, and people will just eat them up like candy at full retail price.

Yeah. I mean when I had been a madden dev and had the choice to rerelease basically the same game every year working normal hours, pretty slack, poetry needing to recreate a top of the line franchise style working my ass off, I would pick the former I am positive.
