Just a note to OSRS gold anyone that may want to get into OSRS, use RuneLite. It's way better than OSBuddy. It's open source, runs better, and is totally free. It has all the qualities of RSBuddy without having to pay for whatever.

Runelite is an excellent open-source client that is officially supported. 90 percent of the PC players use it and that includes most of the developers.
Merely to clarify, RS3 can't use 3rd party customers, it's OSRS that uses runelite and RSBuddy It leaves the game at higher resolutions, has a further view space, customizable UI/themes, custom plugins, custom hotkeys, innovative stat/goal tracking, slayer-monster monitoring, and a bunch of similar features Runescape gamers:"Just 1 decade of my personality is practically prepared to PVP! It is just that following upgrades such as EoC, multiple graphics updates, along with an entirely different native customer it has changed a whole lot.
OSRS is Rsgoldfast a branch of the first 2007 version. It's received a lot of o updates too, but it's much closer to older Runescape than RS3.
You're likely to want to play Old School RuneScape if you would like to re-live your youth. RS3 is a bastardized version of the first RS2 that you are speaking to. RS3 has MTX out the wazoo and it constantly bombards you with all"buy stuff!" It is most likely one of the very MTX riddled matches of all time.
