I have been saying for Madden 21 coins decades that if they fleshed out franchise modes in their games I would start buying them again. Add advanced scouting, create-a-team features, in depth practice modes/drills, a interactive arrangement which keeps track of your team, and ofc the capability to do all this online with friends. If those things were added to madden or nhl for example it'd be a"take my money" situation Idk about fifa, but madden you was able to do things like Adjust the cost of tickets to go into the arena, adjust food costs, the challenges and coaching camp felt more fun and more comprehensive than they do today. They took out all of the detailed content in franchise mode and created it bleh.
You can still do the scene pricing stuff in Madden franchise (at least as recently as'20) should you play as a team owner rather than coach.
I cant speak for how Fifa plays the issue with Madden is that it doesnt play like soccer. Its rather hard to explain but the common comparison is always to NFL 2K5 in which looking at play of this (we are talking about a match out of'05) looks much more natural and football-like compared to a game 15 years later - not to mention it had many more features.
But at the heart of it, I simply want it to Mmoexp Mut 21 coins feel just like football again not that pre-canned animations shit. With field goal cubes, the game decides this before the snap, its unnatural and pre-determined.
