When a Dolphin or Maytronics robotic cleaner starts to act up or doesn’t clean your pool correctly, it is often because of a few easy-to-fix problems. Before calling the service department, try some simple troubleshooting at home first. Make sure the Power Supply Unit (PSU) is plugged into a GFI outlet. If it is not, replace it with a new one. If the PSU is turned on and the light stays on, it is likely the problem is with the blue cable or with the Dolphin itself and should be brought into Advanced Spa And Pool for more diagnosing.
If your Dolphin doesn’t move or just moves a little and then stops, check the tracks for obstructions and the brushes for blockage. Also, if your model has the white Climbing Rings, allow them to soak up water (5-10 minutes) so they are soft and can grip walls.
