It seems as though ACNH was a rushed job produced

I believe ACNH had enough time to make it even better considering that they began making it in 2012 and postponed the launch from Animal Crossing Items June 2019 to March 2020. I played the game a lot and while I really like the capacity of it but I believe that the game is sloppily made and predatory because they pushed greatly for people to find online subscriptions (such as your island is locked on particular colours, if I need something pink I gotta commerce ) and secured items and lately villagers behind a paywall (you gotta purchase amiboos for Sanrio villagers and things ).

The major disappointment is villager dialog and personality, they are basically identical to each other based on personality type and hobby and although some increase on you it's still very underwhelming. In addition, I believe"Free updates" is a bizarre flex because it implies that we're lucky we do not need to cover things which honestly should have been there from the beginning (like more design slots and storage expansions).

I agree wholeheartedly about the dearth of conversation out of villagers. For a game where the primary"content" revolves around creating a little town in your island, the residents want more love. It is a massive letdown for every villager of the exact same personality type to essentially say the specific same number of lines to you.

It seems as though ACNH was a rushed job produced by a recently formed indie game business comprising like 10 people and not like one of the greatest game businesses that had 9 years to make it, like I literally can't imagine how they were able to put that little effort into it and despite ACNH being a significant bestsellers because it released they still need people to cough up more money for a couple of villagers and furniture if a second complaint is the huge lack of furniture (I have not gotten anything new besides seasonal/event items in weeks...)

I am gonna be devil's advocate and say that acnh has got the island development attribute that probably took a lot of developer time to make, refine, and debug. Assessing the show need to have a bunch of collectibles, bunch of furniture, bunch of clothes, and now being able to put things outside with rain/wind consequences is not a simple feat. I've got my 1000 hours of drama in the game, wish things could be better/different, and expect other developers are inspired by the acnh mechanisms to make it their own in Animal Crossing New Horizons Nook Miles Ticket a fresh game. Like stardew valley did with its inspiration from harvest moon/story of seasons. So many good mechanics and thoughts should be implemented by skillful developers and idea folks like yourself.
